	Introduction
	The Hospital has a fully fledged Dermatology Department since April 2013. It is located in the third floor of the OPD building. Routine OPD is run from Monday to Friday daily from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and on Saturday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm excepting holidays. Around 120 to 150 patients are being seen daily. *In Patients Services:* We have separate ward rooms for male and female patients. Patients of serious dermatological disorders like Pemphigus vulgaris, Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis, severe drug reactions etc are admitted and treated

	Our LASER unit is equipped with state of the art LASERS. We have Q switched Nd YAG LASER, Fractional CO2 LASER and Pulse Dye LASERS. Our centre is the only centre with pulse dye LASER in the whole Eastern India.
	Academic Programs:
	The Department regularly takes theory classes for post graduate MD (Dermatology) and undergraduate students (MBBS & B.Sc Nursing).
